South Moor Vets recently joined XLVets, reinforcing their commitment to independent veterinary practice. As our 65th member, they have become equal shareholders and owners alongside current members, and stand with a thriving community of independently owned practices that choose to collaborate, sharing best practice, knowledge, and expertise.

Based in South Devon, South Moor Vets has grown significantly, recently investing £1 million in their state-of-the-art Dartington practice, which offers advanced surgical, laboratory, and hospitalisation facilities. With a 105-strong team and a deep-rooted history dating back 90 years, their reputation for clinical excellence and outstanding client care makes them a fantastic addition to our community.

Director Will McMullan highlights how XLVets will support their continued growth and independence:

“Crucially, becoming a member of XLVets is an extension of how we grow and maintain our independence. As well as being veterinary surgeons, we must be adept at running and managing a complex business.

Many of team members are outdoor enthusiasts, including 40 horse riders and more than 20 surfers, which reflects their strong connection to the South Devon community and way of life.
